Merus expands Columbus presence with Summit Road Industrial

September 28, 2026 — Merus has closed on Summit Road Industrial, a new industrial development in Reynoldsburg, OH, that will bring 798,000 SF of industrial space to the Columbus market across two buildings.

We will serve as the developer and design-builder for the project. Building 1 will total 267,120 SF and feature a rear-load configuration, 36' clear height, a 2,000 SF spec office, 27 dock doors, 228 auto parking spaces and 57 trailer parking spaces.

Building 2 will total 530,880 SF and feature a cross-dock configuration, 40' clear height, a 2,000 SF spec office, 53 dock doors, 338 auto parking spaces and 105 trailer parking spaces.

Located east of Columbus, Summit offers quick access to SR 310 and I-70, with a new interchange at Taylor Road and I-70 coming soon. The project is also close to John Glenn Columbus International Airport and Rickenbacker International Airport, providing strong access to regional and national transportation networks.

Construction is expected to begin in October 2026. Building 1 is anticipated to be complete in October 2027, followed by Building 2 in November 2027.
